First appointment at Horsford Dental Practice. Two very deep fillings carried out with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Everything explained to me clearly. I am impressed with the professionalism and would recommend them to anyone.

I am 55 years old and all my life I have had a gap between my front teeth, friends always say ‘oh I never noticed’ and I never believed them. I hated having my photos taken. If forced, I never smiled with my mouth open, occasionally when I was caught I would get my daughter to photoshop it.

So, finally, I braved it and have both my front teeth crowned, yes it was expensive, but the best thing I have ever done, I am so pleased with them.

My daughter is getting married in a couple of weeks, and I am now smiling at cameras. And I actually took a smiling selfie!!!

I have known Mr Wigglesworth at a previous practice, I trusted him and was keen to join him at his new clinic. The practice is lovely, fresh, spacious and friendly staff. I will be honest I was nervous, Mr Wigglesworth was reassuring, and the treatment was quicker than I thought it would be.

I had X-rays to examine the situation between teeth hidden by crowns. As a result, I had a crown replaced because there had been decay in the tooth below it and into the gum. I also had an old filling replaced – a good thing as there was decay beneath this too.

I changed from another clinic (an NHS one) as I felt the treatment was unprofessional and inadequate. My experience at Horsford shows that this was a good decision and just in time! My first impressions were of a thoroughly modern and well-equipped set-up with completely professional yet friendly staff in all roles.

Although modern methods and equipment make dental treatment much less unpleasant than in the past it can still be stressful and a personal relationship with a sympathetic dentist is important. When Russell Wigglesworth left the practice at which he had treated me in the past I was bereft, and, having heard that he was eventually intending to set up another practice elsewhere I waited, hoping that I would have no dental disasters in the meantime.

When I found that Horsford Dental Practice was the new home of the Wigglesworth’s I lost no time in signing up. Here is a practice with friendly and sympathetic staff, all of whom have time to spend with their clients in an atmosphere where, as far as possible, one can feel relaxed.
